Что происходит
France is maintaining reinforced dengue surveillance in metropolitan territory, and Santé publique France's 2026 bulletin page was updated on 6 October 2026. The official material confirms ongoing surveillance and prevention around Aedes mosquitoes in metropolitan France. No official case or episode totals were visible in the retrieved bulletin extract, so there are no verified official figures to report here yet. No reliable recent media count was verified either. WHO says Europe can see local dengue transmission when mosquito activity is favorable from June to November, and that infected travellers plus established Aedes mosquitoes can seed transmission in places that are not usually endemic.

Кто подвержен риску и как передаётся
Dengue is a viral infection spread mainly by the bite of infected Aedes mosquitoes, especially Aedes aegypti and, to a lesser extent, Aedes albopictus. It is most common in tropical and subtropical places, especially in urban and semi-urban areas, but imported infections can help start local transmission where these mosquitoes are established. Many infections cause no symptoms or only a mild fever, but some people develop severe dengue. Dengue has four virus types, so infection with one type does not give lasting protection against the others.
