Saudi Arabia is reporting MERS-CoV infections in Al Jouf, Arar, Hafr Al-Batin, Riyadh, Tabuk and Taif. On 15 October 2026, WHO said Saudi Arabia had notified eight laboratory-confirmed cases and one death between 1 January and 5 October 2026.
